There are certain vaccines that cause reactions and possible tumors, so we only use the safest products for your pets.

See below for explanations of the abbreviations.

Indoor-only cats

  • PCRP and RV every year

Indoor/Outdoor cats:

  • FeLV/FIV/HW combo test
  • FeLV (total of 2) and FIV (total of 3) boosters given every 3 weeks
  • PCRP and RV are given every year.
  • FeLV and FIV are also given every year for outdoor cats.

Kittens

  • Kittens get PCRP every 3 weeks for a total of 3.
  • Rabies (RV) is given around 4 months old.
  • 1st FeLV and booster are given to kittens the first year.

All ages

  • Fecal exams should be done every year to check for intestinal parasites especially for indoor/outdoor cats.

Abbreviations

  • PCRP — Feline Distemper/Upper Respiratory (Calici/Rhinotracheitis/Panleukopenia)
  • RV — Rabies Virus
  • FeLV/FIV/HW — Feline Leukemia Virus/Feline Immunodeficiency Virus/Heartworm
  • FeLV — Feline Leukemia Virus
  • RV — Rabies Virus
